Launch CCH Business Fitness content
You need to consider how you will launch the CCH Business Fitness content to your team, then how you will stay on track to implement your longer term goals and projects.

There are two main approaches for a team rollout of the CCH Business Fitness content:
- A formal training session, where no users have had access until that point
- An informal training session where team members may have been using a few tools for weeks
No matter which approach you choose, the format of the ‘Go Live’ training will be the same:
- 45 mins
- Online meeting with your consultant, using screen sharing software
- All team members to attend
- Basic navigation
- Searching
- Functionality
- Content overview
It is imperative that as many team members attend as possible, particularly senior team and partners as it is a sign of solidarity and an indicator that the partners take the project seriously. Implementation is driven from the top, and a firm whose partners are uninterested can quickly find the team becomes disinterested.
Your consultant will also give your team handouts to help with using CCH iFirm Intranet and finding relevant content in future.

Once your team has been trained and you are officially ‘Live’ with the CCH Business Fitness content, you will need to stay on track to implement your longer term goals and projects.
You will find that most major CCH Business Fitness suites have embedded training webinars – these generally start with ‘pre-implementation’ and are worth watching when planning to roll out a new content suite or tool.
CCH Business Fitness also offers a complimentary ongoing content training programme. These 20 minute webinars are available live or as recordings. Go to www.bfnzcdc.co.nz to see the current offering.
We recommend that firms include content training as part of their team meetings every two months, and also keep the content as a standing item on their team meeting agenda, having a different team member train on an item of content each time. This will encourage not only general usage, but help your team become experts.
Keep an eye on the Webinar Library for refresher training and content webinars. Contact us for any additional training needs.
