Copy journals from another workbook

If you would like to repeat a journal without typing out the codes and values individually you can copy and paste the journal into your journal worksheet.

1. Ensure you have enough available rows in the new journal sheet to hold the journals you wish to paste.
   1. You can add rows by entering a value into a cell close to the bottom of the journal sheet and then deleting it.
2. Copy the journal codes and values from the source workbook
3. Click into the next available code cell in the new workbook (leaving at least one row between the last journal) and paste the values
4. In the CCH Workpaper ribbon> Journals section - click the Refresh Codes button.
   1. This will re-enter the codes automatically and trigger the formula entry to display the Code descriptions.
