Delete journals

1. Click on the jounal entry you wish to delete.
2. Click the Delete Journal button, in the CCH Workpaper ribbon.
   1. If the journal hasn't been uploaded, it will be permanently deleted.
   2. If the journal has been uploaded (indicated by shadng over the journal number):
      1. The user will be prompted to answer the following question, "Have you manually deleted the journal from within your accounting softwware?" If yes,
      2. the contents of the journal will be deleted, excluding the journal number and the row will be hidden. Journal numbers are retained to protect the numbering sequence for subsequent journals.

 

This function only deletes the journals from the journal sheet. It does not delete journals in your accounting system.
