Access the workpapers
How you access the CCH Workpapers Excel file depends on the platform you are using:
- Access the workpapers in CCH iKnow
- Access and update the workpapers in iFirm Intranet
- Access and update the workpapers in CCH Document Manager
Install and activate the CCH Workpapers Add-in
Before you can start using the workpapers, you need to install and activate the software:
- Learn about the CCH Workpapers Add-in
- Install the CCH Workpapers Add-in on a PC
- Activate the CCH Workpapers Add-in
- Install the CCH Workpapers Add-in on a terminal server
Set up CCH Workpapers
If you are a workpaper administrator, you should visit the following pages to learn about your role, the settings and how to create a master workbook for your team:
- Learn about the Admin setup
- Import settings from a previous year, if you have setup an earlier version of the electronic workpapers.
- Edit the General settings, if you have NOT setup an earlier version of the electronic workpapers
- Edit the Journal settings
- Set up the D4 Trial Balance code
- Set up the A1 Tax Calculation codes
- Set up the B1 Review Summary using standard firm codes
- Finalise the setup
- Save the master workbook
